The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

ყვარყვარე II ჯაყელი ათაბაგის მესამე ვაჟი, ქაიხოსროსა და მზეჭაბუკის ძმა. ვახუშტის მიხედვით, ათაბაგად იყო1466–1475 წლებში, რაც არ დასტურდება. 1451-1498 წლებში ათაბაგი იყო ბაადურ ჯაყელის მამა ყვარყვარე II.
