The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

არშუშა პიტიახში იყო ქართლის ერთ–ერთი მთავარი VI საუკუნის 40–იან წლებში. მოხსენიებულია "ევსტათი მცხეთელის მარტვილობაში" ქართლის მარზპანის არვანდ გუშნასპის გასაცილებლად მოსულ ქართლის მთავრებს შორის. არშუშა პიტიახში სახელისა და ტიტულის მიხედვით ქვემო ქართლის პიტიახშთა ცნობილ საგვარეულოს უნდა ეკუთვნოდეს. ის V საუკუნეში ცნობილი არშუშა ქართლის პიტიახშის შთამომავალი უნდა იყოს სახელის დარქმევის წესის მიხედვით.
