The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

აბრამ ურიაყოფილი იყო XVIII საუკუნის II ნახევარში ქართველი მესტამბე, სამეფო კარის მღვდელი. 1762–1768 წლებში მოღვაწეობდა ათანასე თბილელის სტამბაში, სადაც მისი მონაწილეობით დაიბეჭდა 9 საეკლესიო წიგნი. შემდეგ თბილისში იყო ერეკლე II-ის "სასტამბო დაზგისმმართველი" და სტამბის უხუცესი. 1786 წელს აქვე დაბეჭდა სახარება.
