დაამთავრა თბილისის სამხატვრო აკადემიის არქიტექტურის ფაკულტეტის ხელოვნების ისტორიისა და თეორიის განყოფილება.

1987 წლიდან მუშაობს კინოში. დამდგმელი მხატვარია ფილმების: "ორშაბათი"(1987), "ზეიმი"(1988), "კედელი"(1991), "ისინი"(1992), "კალმასობა იოანესი"(1993), "არა, მეგობარო"(1993), "ტბა"(1998) და სხვ.
