დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟურნალისტიკის ფაკულტეტი, კინო-ტელე დრამატურგის სპეციალობით 1971 წელს; შოთა რუსთაველის სახელობის თბილისის თეატრალური ინსტიტუტის კინოფაკულტეტი 1980 წელს.

დამდგმელი რეჟისორია ფილმების: "ექსპედიცია" (1983), "კალმასობა იოანესი" (1993); სცენარის ავტორია ფილმების: "ექსპედიცია" (1983), "კალმასობა იოანესი" (1993).
