The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი შუხუთი, ლანჩხუთის რაიონი.

დააამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ფილოლოგიის ფაკულტეტი 1937 წელს.

საქართველოს მეცნიერებათა აკადემიის ენათმეცნიერების ინსტიტუტის უფროსი მეცნიერ თანამშრომელი (1941); იკვლევდა ნახურ (ჩაჩნურ, ინგუშურ, ბაცბურ) და დიდოურ ენებს. კავკასიოლოგი, ფილოლოგიურ მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი (1964).
