The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

ერისთავობა მიიღო იმერთა მეფის ალექსანდრე I-სგან. მის დროს მნიშვნელოვანი ნაბიჯი გადაიდგა ოდიშის დამოუკიდებელ სამთავროდ ჩამოყალიბების საქმეში. იგი იმერეთის მეფეს ბაგრატ VI-ს დაეხმარა ჩიხორის ბრძოლაში ქართლის მეფის გიორგი VIII-ის წინააღმდეგ, რისთვისაც დასავლეთ საქართველოს სხვა ერისთავებთან ერთად გათავისუფლდა ყოველგვარი სამეფო ვალდებულებებისგან წვევისა და ნადირობა-ლაშქრობის გარდა. ოდიშის ერისთავი 1414-1470 წწ. მამია II დადიანის ძე.
