დაამთავრა თბილისის სამხატვრო აკადემია 1945 წელს; ი. რეპინის სახელობის ლენინგრადის სამხატვრო ინსტიტუტი 1948 წელს.

მნიშვნელოვანი ნამუშევრები: "ბაგრატიონის დაჭრა ბოროდინოს ბრძოლაში" (1948), "ი. ბ. სტალინის გადასახლება ბათუმიდან 1903 წელს", "კ. მარქსი და ნ. ნიკოლაძე" (1957), "დოდოს პორტრეტი" (1979) და სხვ.
