The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

მოღვაწეობდა ვახტანგ VI-ის კარზე და 1724 წელს თან გაჰყვა რუსეთში. 1738 წელს ჩაირიცხა ქართველ ჰუსართა ასეულში. მიაკუთვნებენ (ს. ყუბანეიშვილი) პოემა "ვახტანგიანს" (დაახლოებით 1727-1739), რომელიც საყურადღებო ცნობებს გვაწვდის რუსეთში ვახტანგ VI-ის გამგზავრებასა და ქართლ-კახეთის იმდროინდელ პოლიტიკურ მდგომარეობაზე. ტექსტი გამოსცა ს. ყუბანეიშვილმა 1948 წელს. XVIII ს. ქართველი პოეტი.
