The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

თამარი, XIII საუკუნის მოღვაწე, დავით VII ულუს ასული. ცოლად შეირთო მონღოლი დიდმოხელის, "გურჯისტანის ვილაიეთის" გამგებლის, არღუნ აღას ვაჟმა. თამარს სძულდა წარმართი მეუღლე. როდესაც არღუნი გარდაიცვალა, ქმარმა იგი დროებით თბილისში ჩამოიყვანა. თამარი გაიპარა და მთიულეთში დაიმალა. აბაღა ხანისა და თამარის ძმის–დემეტრე II-ის თანხმობით, თამარი ცოლად შეირთო სამეფოს ფაქტობრივმა გამგებელმა, მედროვე სადუნ მანკაბერდელმა.
