The Biographical Dictionary of Georgia covers biographies of people who belong to history of Georgia, who are linked with Georgia, lived in or beyond it.

The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი ქვემო მაჩხაანი, სიღნაღის რაიონი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის ქართული გაერთიანების სამხედრო სკოლა 1930 წელს, ვ.ი. ლენინის სახელობის სამხედრო-პოლიტექნიკური აკადემია 1937 წელს.

1941-1945წწ. დიდი სამამულო ომის დროს იყო საავიაციო დივიზიის სამხედრო კომისარი, საჰაერო არმიის პოლიტიკური განყოფილების უფროსი. იბრძოდა ლენინგრადის ფრონტზე, მონაწილეობდა ტალინის განთავისუფლებაში. ავიაციის გენერალ-მაიორი (1946). მიღებული აქვს სახელმწიფო ჯილდოები.
