The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი განისი, ახლანდელი ყაზბეგის რაიონი.

1905 წელს გამოაქვეყნა ლექსებისა და იგავების პირველი წიგნი. წერდა მოთხრობებს, პუბლიცისტურ წერილებს. ასახავდა გლეხთა ცხოვრებას ("ნუგზარ არაგვის ერისთავი" და სხვ.) მის შემოქმედებაზე გავლენა მოახდინა ქართულმა ლიტერატურამ. ქართულად დაუწერია ლექსი "ბულბული". ოსი მწერალი, ოსურიპროზის ფუძემდებელი.
