The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

"ქართლის ცხოვრების" მიხედვით, VIII საუკუნეში მოღვაწე ერისთავი, ქართლის მეფეების ნათესავი, რომელსაც არჩილ მეფემ თავისი "რეფორმების" დროს მისცა ჯვარი, ხერკი, მთიულეთი, მანგლისის ხევი და თბილისი. "ქართლის ცხოვრების" ერთ-ერთი მინაწერი მას მიაკუთვნებს საისტორიო მეცნიერებაში ჯუანშერის სახელით ცნობილ თხზულებას, რაც არ შეეფერება სინამდვილეს.
