The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაამთავრა კიევის სასულიერო აკადემია ღვთისმეტყველების კანდიდატის ხარისხით.

1905-1908წწ. იყო გურია-სამეგრელოს ეპისკოპოსი; 1908-1917წწ. იმერეთის ეპარქიის მმართველი და გელათის მონასტრის წინამძღვარი. 1917 წელს, საქართველოს მართლმადიდებლური ეკლესიის ავტოკეფალიის აღდგენის შემდეგ, დაადგინეს წილკნის ეპისკოპოსად. 1920-1922წწ. მიტროპოლიტის პატივით იყო ჭყონდიდისა და ბათუმ-შემოქმედის ეპარქიის მმართველი.
