The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

კახეთის დიდგვაროვანი ფეოდალი XII საუკუნის I ნახევარში, აბულეთისძეთა საგვარეულოს ფუძემდებელი, დავით აღმაშენებლისა და დემეტრე I-ის სარდალი. 1110 წელს გიორგი ჭყონდიდელის დისწულ თევდორესა და ივანე ორბელთან ერთად სარდლობდა ქართველთა ლაშქარს, რომელმაც თურქთაგან გაათავისუფლა სამშვილდე. 1124 წელს დავით აღმაშენებელმა აბულეთი და მისი ძე ივანე ანისის გამგებლად დანიშნა. უკანასკნელად იხსენიება 1130 წელს.
