The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

ქართლის (იბერიის) მეფე ძვ.წ. I საუკუნეში. წ. 36. დამარცხდა ქართლში შემოჭრილ მარკუს ანტონიუსის მხედართმთავართან პუბლიუს კანიდიუს კრასუსთან ბრძოლაში. ამ უკანასკნელმა აიძულა ფარნავაზ II თავი რომაელთა მოკავშირედ გამოეცხადებინა და რომაელებთან ერთად ალბანელთა მეფის ზობერის წინააღმდეგ ლაშქრობაში მიეღო მონაწილეობა.
