The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

1886 წელს, ზუგდიდის მაზრის სოფელ ხორგაში მამასახლისობის დროს, მისი დიდი ღვაწლით, გლეხობამ ორკლასიანი სასწავლებელი გახსნა, რომლის შენობა 2500 მანეთი დაჯდა. მისივე მეცადინეობით სოფელმა განაჩენი დადგინა და სკოლის შესანახად წლიურად 600 მანეთის გადახდა იკისრა. სკოლაში ასამდე შეგირდმა დაიწყო სიარული. სოფელ ხორგას მაგალითით, სკოლების გასახსნელად ზრუნვა სხვა სოფლებმაც დაიწყეს. საზოგადო მოღვაწე.
