The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

1903 წელს თბილისში გახსნა საამხანაგო სტამბა "შრომა". ხელს უწყობდა ქართული წიგნებისა და ჟურნალ-გაზეთების ბეჭდვას. მისი დახმარებით გამოიცა რამდენიმე ქართული გაზეთი. ვასილ ბოლქვაძე ცნობილი იყო, როგორც ქართული მწიგნობრობისა და საგამომცემლო-სამეწარმეო საქმის კარგი მცოდნე. მწიგნობარ-მესტამბე, ბეჭვდის საქმის ოსტატი.
