The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

ქუთაისის საადგილმამულო ბანკის ხელმძღვანელის, მექი ფაღავას მეუღლე. მხატვარმა მიხაი ზიჩიმ 1882 წელს, "ვეფხისტყაოსნის" ცოცხალი სურათების დადგმაში მიიწვია და ილუსტრაციებისათვის, თამარის და თინათინის პროტოტიპად გამოიყენა. დარია ფაღავა იყო ქუთაისის დრამატული საზოგადოების თავმჯდომარე. მან გახსნა წიგნთსაცავი და სამკითხველო სოფელ ბანძაში. იური ფაღავას დედა და ვერა ფაღავას ბებია.
