The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

გიორგი XIII-ის შვილი, ცხოვრობდა, სწავლობდა და მოღვაწეობდა რუსეთში. 1812 წელს სხვა ქართველ ბატონიშველებთან ერთად, საკუთარი სურვილით იბრძოდა საფრანგეთის წინააღმდეგ, სადაც დაიჭრა კიდეც. წერდა ლექსებს და თარგმნიდა სამკურნალო შინაარსის ლიტერატურას. თარგმნა "კარაბადინი ფრინველთა", "ფეიერვერკი ანუ ცეცხლის მფრქვეველი შუშხუნა", "ცხენის ექიმობა" (სპარსულიდან).
