The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი ბოტკო, საგარეჯოს რაიონი.

1936 წელს მისი მშობლები ლაფანყურში გადასახლდნენ. 2-3 წლის ასაკში გიორგი კოდაშვილს გადაუტანია მენინგიტი, რის გამოც ორივე ქვედა კიდურის დამბლა ჰქონდა. მუხლის თავებით მოძრაობდა ჯოხზე დაყრდნობილი. მიუხედავად ამისა, იყო კარგი დურგალი და მთელი სიცოცხლე შრომობდა. გიორგი იყო თავისი დროისათვის დიდად ნაკითხი კაცი, თუმცა სკოლაში არ უვლია.
