The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი გვიმრალა, ლენტეხის რაიონი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟურნალისტიკის ფაკულტეტი 1966 წელს.

მუშაობდა რაიონულნულ გაზეთ "საბჭოთა სვანეთის" (ახლანდ. "სვანეთის") განყოფილების გამგედ, რედაქტორის მოადგილედ; 1966 წლიდან იყო ამ გაზეთის რედაქტორი. მიღებული აქვს სახელმწიფო ჯილდოები.
