დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟურნალისტიკის ფაკულტეტი 1975 წელს.

მუშაობდა ტელევიზიისა და რადიომაუწყებლობის სახელმწიფო კომიტეტში ტელეფილმების სტუდიის რედაქტორად; მისი სცენარით შექმნილია რამდენიმე ფილმი; არის მრავალი გადაცემის ავტორი; რედაქტორობდა 200–მდე ფილმს.
