The present article gives a brief description of peculiarities of the modern Francophony and political linguistics. These peculiarities are conditioned by dissemination and popularization of French language in all continents that gives us a possibility to undertake typological studies of this phenomenon in political, linguistic, cultural and geographical ways. In the conclusion the assumption of the internationalization of Francophony as a globalization in a French way is suggested.
