The Paradigms of the Holy Grail in Georgian Mythology

The Holy cups, fallen from the sky, or found in the fish's stomach (the cups are referred to well-know King-fish in German and French literature about the Holy Grail) are the paradigms in the Georgian mythology. Stone-stars, fallen from the sky are also there. The Georgian kings are trying to catch them.

The paradigm of the Holy Grail is Queen Tamar's prisoner, the star which brings seasons and time; Famous Kamar's cups and dishes in Amiran's epos are also the paradigms of the Holy Grail. The Cup, the Grail expresses the woman's beginning in Georgian mythology.

Woman is a spiritual and physical ipostar of the Holy Grail.

Psav-Khevsureti variant of the story of the liberation of mythical women and sacred caps from Kagaveti (Kingdom under the ground) is also connected with the Grail motive. The Golden Fleece is also one of the paradigms of the Holy Grail.
