The article is dedicated to the activities of Georgian educational institutions in Moscow from the end of the 20th century up to now.
The causes for the foundation in Moscow of various Georgian national private schools are given. Such are: Secondary schools providing general education with the component of Georgian education, financed by the Moscow Department of Education and private Georgian national schools (lyceums).
Particular attention is paid to the matter of the educational process and arrangements for the creation of cultural environment in the schools.
The article deals with the problems and prospects of the functioning in Moscow private Georgian national schools.
