The study describes the murals of the church "Ascension of the Cross" (Shiomgvime), the main subjects of it's theological program, sub-themes and peculiarities, as well presents analysis, apportionment, grouping and contraposition of different scenes and topics and based on above mentioned final determination of theological aspects of the murals.
In general the art draft of the murals is quite traditional for developed Middle Ages, but locations of the scenes, accentuation and setting off of compositions form peculiar, highly original and saturated picture.
