The ethnical term Somekh belongs only to the Kartvelian space. The term means haos = armen. It is found that before and after the assimilation with Armens, historically from the immemorial time, Armenians lived near to the Kartvelian tribes from the South side. The term Somekh itself and the ending -kh are Kartvelian, like terms Meskhi, Heniokhi, Kolkhi, Kardukhi, Diaokhi, in which the suffix -kh expresses the origin, belonging and plurality.
