In the scientific literature the Svan term "sgri" considers as the Downbalian sinonym of the Highbalian term "mäčuib", that means ground floor of house. After linguistical analysis has cleared that "sgri" comes from root "sga" (middle) and means "average", "middle" (that is first) floor of three-floor house.
