The castle of the middle ages Itskisi is situated in the east part of the West Georgia, in Imereti region. There were excavated two archaeological levels around the Itskisi castle and were discovered archaeological materials, which are belonged of the middle ages. There are discovered three groups of the archaeological materials dated of 6^th-8^th cc. 11^th-14^th cc. and 18^th cc.
