The idea of the United Caucasus is not new, it's quite old. It's been a centuries-old tradition in Georgian reality. It's quite natural that this idea is vividly seen in Alexander Orbeliani's works – one of the leaders of the mutiny in 1832 in Georgia.

In the writer's opinion gaining and maintaining freedom and independence is possible only by uniting the efforts of all the peoples living in Caucasus. The difference in beliefs makes no obstacle that can't be overcome. The chief thing is not belief but the peoples' common goal, ties of blood relationship.
