The Distribution of Bumblebee Types (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) in High-Mountain Belt of Caucasus

The investigation showed that the meadow types of Bumblebee fauna prevail in the Armenian uplands and northern slopes of Caucasus (3/4 of its fauna). In the other parts of Greater Caucasus less than a half of this amount of Bumblebees are dwelling. In the Armenian uplands the mountainous forest element of the fauna is reduced substantially. 1/4 of Bumblebees types are those of forest slopes of Greater Caucasus. In the Steppes of Armenian uplands there is less variety of Bumblebees fauna (1/4 of Bumblebees fauna). In the foothills of Greater Caucasus Steppes 1/3 of the Bumblebees fauna type is that of the forest slopes of Greater Caucasus.
