Solomon Dodashvili's Pedagogical Views and Modernity

Solomon Dodashvili hasn't written special works, but he has interesting ideas about upbringing, education and teaching of future generation, about school work, its aim and problems. His dream was Georgian education to be on the same level as European and he considered to open more schools and libraries, to develop Georgian sciencies.

To settle problems of teaching, upbringing and education of future generation, Solomon Dodashvili considered school as the main. He thought that anly educated and experted teachers must work at school. He considered teaching as upbringing. He demanded to see person's talant in proper perspective and not his high birth. His views must be foreseen in modern pedagogics.
