The restoration work of the Georgian manuscript "Calkosi gospel", which dates back to the 13th century, is analysed in the article.
The given manuscript was restorated many times. Its last restoration is supposed to have taken place in the 17th-18th centuries.
To improve safe keeping of the block of manuscript restoration work for binding the leaves and renewing the cover was carried out in the department of restoration at the K. Kekelidze Institute of Manuscripts.
