At the beginning of the 20th century, new generation, distinguished by innovation pathos, insistently demanded for the literal-esthetical transformation of 19th century consciousness. Language renovation, reconstruction of traditional genres and emergence of new themes were the main topics.
New ideas, destruction of ordinary life routine, separated the ways aimed at one, general purpose, as future was foreseen by the society in different ways.
Critical social-political events and reasonable changes in social life, were the reason of literally environment, where the new genres, like – miniature, poem in prose, essay prevailed.
The final definition of above-mentioned poetic prose genres and definition of their specific characteristics is still the subject of discussion. It's still a somewhat embattled literary form. That's partly because with rare exception, critics still haven't said enough about it yet, or, at least that's insightful and positive. This subject needs to be carefully studied.
