The Greek scientific language reached the highest level of its development in the works by Plato and Aristotle. This language is a model for the medieval and contemporary philosophical language and thought. The 11-12th century Georgian scholars Georgi Mtatsmindeli, Efrem Mtsire, Arsen Ikaltoeli, Ioane Petritsi, Ioane Taritchisdze and others made a great contribution to the elaboration of the Georgian philosophical terminology.
The article deals with the problem of semantic adequacy of logical terms – syllogism, premisis, conclusions and sillogistic terms. It is the problem of adequacy of the Georgian terms to the objects represented by the original terms. It is shown how the conceptual differences represented by the meaning of these terms were step by step introduced and established.
