Relation Between Person and Society in the Transformation Process

In the given article the author has discussed theoretical interpretation of relation between person and society at the contemporary stage that represents the eternal sociological problem. On the pattern of Georgia and post-Soviet countries as well the author brings out the particular acuteness of this problem that is largely conditioned by the disruption of natural process of History. The 70-year-long communist regime left a negative mark on the development of society. Namely, it practically significantly worsened the role of individual in societal life and realigned it as a plain nut of government and as an implementer of the directives given from the above. A certain role was played by pseudo democracy that existed in independent Georgia.

Today the power tries to avert the crisis step-by step. The author notes that inculcation of human existence of person must become the basis of inculcation of the innovative relations between society and liberal individual. That in its turn will be guarantee of successful development of the both sides of dualism. At the same time the contradiction between individual and state will exist permanently as the steady basis of the societal development.
