Ecclesiasts Interpretation of Grigol Akrakanteli and deacon Olimpiodor Alexandrian is created in accordance with the norms of Gelati literary translation school and is kept in Stock A (A 61 – XIII century) of K. Kekelidze Institute of Manuscripts under the Academy of Sciences of Georgia. The monument, like the monuments created in accordance with the norms of this literary school in general, is rich in theological terminology. In the presented article there considered peculiarities of translation of lexeme სახე and the terms derived from it. It is observed that, based on the principle of retaining of monosimeurity of the term and unambiguous correlation between the term and the notion, Georgian translators try to select an exact correspondence to the term. Based on the considered material, we come to a conclusion that during the period when translation of Ecclesiasts Interpretation by Grigol Akrakanteli and deacon Olimpiodor Alexandrian takes place the problem of polysemantic is still relevant, though an attempt to solve this problem in the translation can clearly be observed.
