The article studies some polyphonic features of chamber-instrumental ensembles of young Georgian composers whose works were known in the 1990-ies. In the ensemble of I. Tsintsadze, E. Chabashvili and M. Virsaladze the origin of polyphony is analysed in connection with using such contemporary means of musical thinking as sonority, aleatoric, polystylistic, pointillistic and ostinato technique, dramaturgy of "Instrumental Theatre".
