Management Style, Traits of Managersand Aspects of Georgian Culture

In post-soviet Georgia the procees of importing management theories and practices from developed countries has become intensive. The article is concluding the idea that societal values, managerial practices and the congruence between the two sets have influenced critical organizational outcomes. Attention is focused on transition problem on democratic management principles, is discussed dimensions of national cultures, different definitions of management style. The aim of empirical part of the work is to develop own research instruments of management style, specific to Georgian culture.
