The paper deals with the phenomenon of secondary praseologization in Biblicisms i.e. biblical units. Secondary phraseologization is secondary transfer of meaning of already meaning-transferred biblical units, in most cases accompanied by the change of the structure, finally resulting in the change of semantic load of the unit.
