The evidence of the existence of dancing in the next world is preserved in mountainous Georgia. Good spirits of the dead dance around the white tower of the next world every morning and evening. Almost a similar picture is found in the epos of Narts. According to the old mythological traditions, circle is sacred, it surrounds the tree of life and is an attribute of other magic activities.
The round dance exists up to the present day, which is known as "perhuli".
According to our conclusion, the dances performed around the tower in the next world in the morning and evening are identical with round dances.The trace of the oldest beliefs found in folk-lore concerning dancing in the next world is also important from the choreographic viewpoint.
