In the article the names of some letters of the Slavonic alphabet - азъ (а), онъ (о), покои (п), отъ (w) - are interpreted.
The names of letters of the Slavonic alphabet belong to its creator - Constantin Philosopher.
It is more probable that Constantin Philosopher (Cyrill) is the creator of the Cyrillic alphabet. The Glagolitic alphabet is a secondary system. This hypothesis is based on analysis of the Slavonic alphabet as a semiotic system.
