Psychology
There is a good evidence that personality is significantly correlated with disease. Groups of people with all sorts of diseases are more likely to be chronically hostile, depressed and anxious than healthy comparison groups. The consistency of association between personality and disease is remarkable. Many components that the commonly referred to the "gender" have the potential to affect health, including physiological differences (e.g., hormonal differences).
