Library Science
Reading is a public phenomenon. Analyzing reading as a phenomenon we consider it not as a particular but as a public act. During the centuries reading was an important condition of living. Through this long period of development the book acquired multiple functions. Book keeps the fruits of reflection. This is like " a word turned into a stone" transfers thoughts and ideas through the epochs and across of distances. It is the best source of education.
Besides of moral-ideological function, book acquired utility value and is used as a subject of commerce and trade, it can be an object for sale.
The natural interrelation between a book and a person creates some problems. There is no particular science studying of reading. Creating branch of science for this purpose is vitally important for the future.
