Methods of Experimental Works for Determining Influence of Psychophysiological Factor upon the Work of the Operator

The analysis of experimental data demonstrated that normal functioning of "human-machine" system is secured if inertia of the operator does not exceed 1.2 seconds. The reason for increasing sensomotoric reaction or inertia by minor loads is reduction of emotional tension. The quantity of information necessary to direct technological processes in the production conditions is not enough to maintain emotional tension of the operator at an optimal level. Monotony of the direction process causes reduction of attention concentration, it provokes inadmissible inertness and reduces the possibility of non-erroneous operation. Reduction of inertia was achieved by adding sound signals, which reduced time for sensomotoric reaction to 0.5-0.7 seconds and increased accuracy of the system management 2-3 times.
