The paper discusses the basic psychological conceptions of creativity. Summarizing the findings of the available studies has allowed the author to establish the personal characteristics of creative persons: independence, nonconformity, non-stereotyped thinking, inquisitiveness, high affective excitability, desire to seek novelty, striving for self-actualization, etc.
