The work aims to form the functional directions of the modern school libraries.
The functions may be divided into three directions: 1. Methodical, 2. Cultural-educational, 3. Academic programs.
These three functions constitute educational system of the school library.
In the work the principal attention is paid to the coordinative work of the teacher along with librarian.
