The work deals with one of the most complicated periods of the history of Germany, namely the period when Germany defeated in World War I and devastated due to the gravest conditions of the ready of Versailles was endangered to be deprived of its economic and political influence in Europe. In fact it became out of the great powers. Germany was expected its expansionist strives in any part of the world and especially in South-Eastern Europe. The latter reviewed from the standpoint of its vast economic and political potential and strategic interests, was subject to constant confrontations in the capitalist world, but the Balkan issue has remained up to nowadays one of the important problems of contemporary International relations in the world.
The objectives of Germany have remained unchangeable. The defeat in war temporarily suspended their implementation. By flexible diplomacy Germany managed to recover its strength. Eventually, it achieved the abrogation (cancellation) of the resolutions of Versailles; released itself from the financial and military control of the allies; it was granted (received) foreign loans and paved way to German capital towards the South-Eastern European countries.
Germany was ready to fight for the division (distribution) of world with greater self-confidence. The plan of establishing in the Balkans was especially expanded during the Nazi dictatorship.
