Trading Relations of England with the City-Republics of Italy (15th-16th CC.)

The information on trading relations of England with the City-Republics of Italy is presented by very important source of the 16th century – The Council Acts of the London Mercers’ Company.

The documents of 1485, 1487 testily that Italians carried into England different things of luxury and fabrics.

It turned out that in 20-es of the 16th century mostly Venetian merchants had trading relations with England.
